Layl makes about one large cane a week plus multiple small canes.Each cane takes anywhere from 10 to 40 hours to make depending on how detailed they are and how soft the clay is. Most of Layl's canes are about 6 inches in diameter and 10 inches tall though she has made much larger and smaller canes. Here are more photos of canes being made.
