X marks the Spot

Inspiration- While on our trip to Montreal I made a very loose sketch of a landscape with two trees that looked like an X.  When I came back I was trying to decide what I would make for the Letter X of my alphabet book that I am planning and I remembered this sketch.  The original painting had a pig farmer and other things but I changed it to a penguin pulling a rhinoceros.

Technique-  This piece is nearly all solid clay.  I used slabs of clay that were baked separately to make the landscape.  I created the trees and characters separately and added the them to the piece with wire and Apoxy Sculpt.
