Island of the Golden Waves

Created Winter 2010

Inspiration- I had the large wave left over from my Story Landscapes that I made in 2009 and then I had this frame.  The two sat in my studio for a long time until the idea for this finally came together for this piece.  I spent sometime studying "towers" that I saw in the architecture around me- including some "fantasy towers" I found online.
