Family Outings: Making millefiori clay crafts with the kids
It's nearly impossible to make ugly millefiori, which is what makes the clay craft such a great fit for kids.I recently took my 9-year-old son to a class offered by artist Layl McDill at her studio in Northeast Minneapolis. We sat on stools around a long, high table made of clear Plexiglas with a half-dozen other children and a few parents. Chunks of polymer clay filled the middle of the table like squares of colorful bubblegum.

Green Star Remodeling Project
The Handmade Tile Association.llc is proud to announce that member Clay Squared to Infinity's handmade tile was used in the first Minnesota GreenStar Remodeling Project in 2008
The remodeling project was contracted out from Castle Building & Remodeling, ASID member Katie Jaydan selected 2" x 2" field tile "Ginger Snaps" for the backsplash project at 2601 36th Ave NE in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Josh and Layl had the honor of being selected in two international juried books in their fields. Josh was chosen to be in the book 500 Tiles. Layl was chosen in another juried book 400 Polymer Clay Designs.
