What is a Silly Milly?

Silly Millies are slice and bake polymer clay millefiore canes. Polymer clay is a clay that will not harden until it is baked. It bakes at a low tempurature of 275 degrees in your regular home oven. A Millefiore cane (or sometimes spelled millifiore) is a rod of material where the design or picture goes all the way through from end to end. Everytime you slice it the same picture is revealed.

Silly Millie are available in two sizes:
Small Silly Millies are $5.50 each and are approximately 2 inches long and the diameter of a dime. You can make 5 to 10 beads and 10 to 15 buttons, depending on how thick you slice the cane.
Large Silly Millies are $9.50 and are approximately 2 inches long and the diameter of quarter. You can make about 10 to 15 buttons and numerous beads depending on how thick you slice the cane, or if you roll the cane to smaller sizes.
