How a Polymer Clay Cane is Built

The Polymer Clay Guild of Minnesota got together to make all kinds of paper crafts with polymer clay Millefiore Canes.  Here are our fun creations! All the slices we used were pre-baked; so to get started your first step is to bake your thin slices of Silly Millies for 30 minutes at 275.  We then created our paper creations by using all kinds of materials and techniques- stamps, ribbons, paper quilling, etc.

We found that some glues and tapes were better than others.  The roll of dots we used didn't stick permanently but the strong double stick tape [the kind with the red backing] worked fine.

If you have created paper craft projects, using Silly Millies, please e-mail a digital image to: Layl@claysquared.com

You can send questions to Layl at the same e-mail address.
