Here are some links to some art that I find facinating and inspirational.

While poking around all the interesting shops and galleries in Florence Italy we came across some really fun ceramic sculptures by Riccardo Biavati.

His website is also really creative.

This is just plain fun- Printable paper art projects.

Janis Mars Wunderlich - One of my most favorite ceramic artists.   Very whimsical and unique.  Amazing glazing techniqe too!

There are so many fabulous artists in Minnesota and many of them are part of WARM (Women's Art Registry of Minnesota) so rather than list them all here.  Here is a link to their link page and a little info on each artist: http://www.thewarm.org/pages/registry.php

Sue Christensen of Nameless Wildness Clayworks makes patchwork pottery from impressions of everything all around the world.   The colors and details of the glazing is just stunning.  Plus she's a great friend and so are our kids.   www.namelesswildness.com

Connie Cohen is a mosaic artist that is in The Pomagranate Group with me and 3 others.  She does some beautiful mosaics with smalti glass and teaches classes in the Twin Cities.

Faye Hoche is a textile aritst that makes some really unusual and beautiful work (She's also in the Pomagranate Group). Her creations are stunning and must be seen in person. http://www.fayehoch.com

Ingrid Restemayer is another member of our Pomagranate group.  She is a mixed media artist working in printmaking, found objects and fibers.  Her work features intricate etchings or tiny objects collaged with fine papers, the surface finished with hand-stitched embroidery.

Her website is full of facinating pieces and fabulous to stoll through.  http://www.ingridartworks.com/

Here are some oil paintings that are like none other!  Heidi K. Henderson works on these pieces for months and then you feel like you could look at them for years and never see everything.  She uses really unique found objects in interesting ways- sometimes as frames sometimes as surfaces.   She also turns her paintings into kaleidescoping designs which are printed on scarves and pillows.  www.hkhpaintings.com

Howtopapercraft.com just gave us a nice review.  It's a pretty cool site too! Lots of videos with cool tutorials.

Linda Sharpe is an artist I just recently met.  I just fell in love with her whimsical style- I'm sure you'll see why when you check out her website: www.lindasharpe.net
