Clay Squared has done a variety of Public Art Projects over the past couple of years.

Josh Blanc, Sheryl Tuorila, and Randy Walker are proud to share with you the finished project!

Sheryl Tuorila made the mosaic benches

Randy Walker the sculpture hanging from the ceiling

Our intentions were to create a very inviting and comfortable space for the patrons of the library to interact with.  This is a waiting area, meeting area and a community area – we would like it to also be a place library patrons go to read, relax and participate with the artwork around them.

Our concept, bands of color on the floor, will connect with the bands of color on Sheryl Tuorila’s designed benches, inviting further exploration.   Both of these designs echo the colors, lines and paths of fibers wrapping Randy Walker’s aerial sculpture hanging above.
